Hey I'm Dana, so nice to meet you
I started my business, Pick Me Up Creative Co, in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. I knew one day I wanted to start my own business, but I never could put my finger on what that would be. All I knew was that I wanted to do something creative because that's always been my passion.
So I decided to take some classes on graphic design, marketing, and web design and fell in love with it. That's when I decided to take a risk and start my own business.
I'm a midwest girl living in Chicago now living her dreams.
The best part about what I do is create intentional designs for clients that they fall in love with, which gives them the confidence in their business to thrive and create endless opportunities.
The reason why my niche is service-based entrepreneurs is that I am one of them. I went from feeling I could never do what I saw other people doing to advocating for other entrepreneurs to do the same. If I can be one of the reasons you live a freedom-filled life from your business, that tells me I'm achieving what I was inspired to do.
It can be a scary journey to start your own business, but it's not an impossible one.
Dana was so incredible to work with! She catered to my personal brand as a musician and really understood the mood I was interested in creating. She was so patient with me throughout the entire process. I am so looking forward to hiring her again in the future!

Communication
In order to be successful within a project, there has to be clear, concise communication. I ensure that my contact with you is frequent and you understand my intentions for the project, keeping you a part of the creation every step of the way. There's nothing worse than feeling left out or confused about what is going on. I will be open and transparent through communication and make sure you feel trusting and relieved with what you've invested.

Design
My design process is strategic and detailed. I take pride in my work and in representing myself and my business. From the initial start to the end of the design process, I make sure you connect with what I create visually, and it turns out to be something that truly represents you and your brand identity. Design is my main focus, and I ensure that you have everything you want out of your inspiration.

Relationship
I know there are a million designers in the digital world, and it can be hard to choose who to trust in investing your energy and money. So before we start working together, I always make sure that you feel we are a good fit, and I think the same. I like to build a relationship to make you feel at ease and confident with hiring me as your designer and know that your project isn't a job for me. It's a commitment.
